Nendoroids | Those cute little things hold too much power

Roy Mustang, Riza Hawkeye, Nendoroid, Full Metal Alchemist, Best Couple

Most of us otakus have a weakness to something. Mine are usually rubber keychains and Nendoroid versions of my fav characters. One of my favourite time-killing activity is perusing the Japanese Good Smile Company website for its latest products, and it is usually a regrettable activity because my credit card goes kaching

Goodbye, hard-earned money.

Rin Tohsaka, Figma, Fate/Stay Night, Unlimited Blade Works, Figurine, Goodsmile Company

So, she’s not a Nendoroid here, but Tousaka Rin‘s pose in the cinematic movie poster for Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Budget Blade Works still gets a big kiss from meYes, even the hair was recreated down to its very strands (as mentioned in the product description).

Do you have one? If so, I’m not talking to you. 🙂

Mikazuki Munechika, Touken Ranbu, Ikemen, Sword, Costume

OH. MY. SHIVERS.

Look at that THAT masterpiece!

Someone must really like Mikazuki Munechika, because that level of details and love into this figurine is admittedly obsession to the next level. And I like it. Munechika is our token ikemen jiji figure in 刀剣乱舞 Touken Ranbu, and when he gets serious, he is totally badass to the core. I am still reeling from the fact that he wipes out his enemies with one fell swoop in 活撃/刀剣乱舞 Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu.

Heck, he even has a dedicated website to this figurine which will make me lose sleep. I think he deserves it. 🙂

Senbonzakura Kaito, Nendoroid, Vocaloid, GoodSmile Company

I’d been eyeing on dashing militarist Kaito (Senbonzakura Ver.) from Yamaha’s wildly successful vocal singing synthesizer – the Vocaloid series. I missed out on the release as I wasn’t even aware of how amazing the Senbonzakura MV became. I’m still waiting for an opportunity to get my grubby little hands on him. 🙁

Kuroshitsuji, The Black Butler, Nendoroid, Ikemen, Handsome, Demon, Sebastian Michaelis

Sebastian Michaelisfrom 黒執事 Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler). I wanted to snatch this ikemen up because of the last pose he can do which is utterly kyuuuuute! Now, if only they come with those set of sexy heeled boots he strutted in when he was first summoned from Hell. *fans herself*

Nagato Yuki, The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi, Nendoroid, Disappearance Version, Nendoroid

Nagato Yuki (Disappearance Ver.) from 涼宮ハルヒの消失 Suzumiya Haruhi no Shōshitsu (The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi). Now, this version is totally MOE. It’s unbelievably heart-rendering rending, even I am slightly moved to buy her. Anyway, this version of her seems nicer than her original version. The Disappearance version is so much more MOEEEE, especially the second pose. Oh gosh!

Oh, Roy Mustang probably needs NO introduction. This wonderful handsome man who wields fire by clicking his fingers (no, not Thanos-style) took my heart the very minute he was introduced in the Full Metal Alchemist manga. I still amaze myself that I have not broken the GoodSmile Company’s system by putting an order on his Nendoroid, but well, my restraint has grown stronger with age. Check out his last pose in the website. He’s perfect. 🙂

What Nendoroids have you splurged your precious monies into thus far? And what’s in the pipeline that has caught your eye?
